On behalf of Napier Boys High School, I would just like to express our thanks for your hospitality during our 9 night stay with you. Your friendly hospitality helped to make our trip the memorable one we always hoped it would be.

The boys loved their rooms, the pool and outdoor spa, as well as the cable TV in their rooms. Everybody also thought the location was fantastic being just two blocks from the beach and a 10 minute walk to the centre of town. We also appreciated the free broadband connection available to us.

We will have no hesitation in recommending your apartments to any other schools who are planning a trip to the Gold Coast in the future. Thank you both very much.

Booked a whole floor as there were 7 of us travelling together and we were able to book into one of the rooms early which was a bonus after a midnight flight from Perth

10 out of 10 as far as i am concerned. The front desk is very knowledgeable and helpful. The facilities are excellent and Sunbird location in main Beach was perfect for us. We have a young family and the chikldren can't wait to get back there, especially the heated indoor pool. 10 out of 10 for service, hospitality and hygiene. Also all the theme parks are in striking distance.

Island was great and staff very attentive and helpful. Great place for family holiday althought several of the facilities around the island appear a little tired and would look heaps better with a little freshen up. Accommodation very good, althopugh like any island everything is very expensive ie food, activities etc.

This is a new building probably about 2 years old. About a 5 min walk to Surfers Paradise central area. Resort on the South side of Surfers and just far enough away to be out of the crazyness of surfers. Pool and BBQ area nice, and you can book out the theatre there as well, seat about 10-12.

the apartments are fully equiped and have a north facing balcony looking up to Q1. We stayed in a 2 bedroom "02" unit which is looks out near the river, our friends 2 bedroom unit was an "06" unit, it is at the beach end of the building and this apartment was heaps bigger than ours. If we ever come back again we will be requesting the "06" beach end unit cause it is much bigger and has best beach views in the building

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this place especially to families.

Had a 3 days stay in Surf Regency. Overall, we have a great stay there even though it was short. We had a 1 bedroom apartment. The room was clean and the great thing was it had a great view of the ocean. Not only from the balcony in the living hall but also in the bedroom. If you like the hear the ocean waves, you can simply leave the door open will you sleep. It was windly, so there was no need for us to on the air-condition. The front desk was very helpful when attending to our queries about getting around the place and helping us to book our airport transfer during departure. As the front desk opens only during working hours and we had to head out early in the morning, so we left a note for them to help us made a booking for the airport transfer. Without any worries, we had the confirmation ready the next day. The location was just right - away from the crowded shopping area but within easy walking distance there as well as to bus stops and bus terminal. But one thing is that there wasn't daiyl housekeeping. So basically you have to keep the place clean unless you don't mind staying in a messy apartment throughout. You have to clear your own rubbish and if you intend to stay for long, best if you bring your own toiletries - especially toilet rolls. Overall, we had a great stay. Will defintely go back there if there is a chance.

I really like Points North. I\'ve traveled to Australia 3 times and each time I\'ve stayed at Points North. I feel like I get excellent value for the money and the location is perfect. The apartments themselves are clean and well furnished and I feel right at home. Now...just because I think I get great value, please don\'t raise the prices!

We loved the resort! We stayed on level 3 in the middle, overlooking the pool towards the ocean for the weekend. Great for the kids and the BBQ and pool worked well for our friends who called over and their kids. On Saturday afternoon we all had drinks on burleigh hill lookng over the surf and surfers. Magic!

Great Place to Stay with the family. we had two units at the resort. my son got engaged and the manager and his wife gave them a bottle of wine they were freindly and non invasive.

the president apartments was in a great location and the layout of the penthouse was ideal for what we needed. The manager was really friendly too. Our only complaint would be the unit was not very clean.

Very Poor, charged $150 to park car not advised on booking or in website. Management did not respond when asked to speak too as well as head office. Survey completed ask for contact yet no response from Whydham. Tour desk , staff unsure on city, I had to tell thaem the best way to get to the casino.

This place must have been brilliant back in the day but now I believe they have major staffing issues....We had nothing but trouble the whole time we were there from bad food broken showers, being "hit on" buy drunk staff, having to listen to drunk staff use terrible language on the ferry trip over, being over billed. It seamed nothing could be done correctly. we couldn't even wonder over to the bakery to buy a cake without waiting a good 10 minutes for rude staff members to finish gossiping out the back and serve us. Don't get me wrong I don't mind waiting, I'm not a snobby twat who expects things to be done quick smart, but I can honestly say that I could not relax the whole time as I was waiting for the next stuff up. here is a quick list of problems we encountered during our short stay:
-room not clean
-poor food quality
-huge wait times, food, coffee
-non responsive staff
-broken shower
-overcharged bill ($200, while checking out 3 other couples checked out and had similar problems, not one person in the short time I was there had an argument free checkout - I feel sorry for the staff who are doing the right thing and get blamed for all the stuff ups)
-stuffed up checkout day
-drunk staff, swearing, hitting on me (even thought I was there with someone else)
-angry staff, constantly heard complaining about working conditions other staff members
- under trained staff, told us miss information (we had to go to 3 different shops at the resort to get a coffee)
-blah blah blah

anyway you get the picture. the resort location is amazing and I would recommend going but trying one of the places on the other side of the island, we just couldn't relax the whole time we were there. I think the main problem stems from the fact that the Kingfisher gets most of its staff from the mainland and they have to catch a ferry to and from work which adds and an extra hour to the start and end of their shift, for which they are not payed. Apparently they aren't payed that well either. SO all the goof staff are snapped up by the resorts on the mainland. However on the other side of fraser the locals live and run the accommodation, it is a wonderful friendly environment where you always feel free to ask questions and are pampered.
